Wherever those Christmas decorations came from, one can’t say for sure. It seems possible that they could have fallen off a truck. Regardless, the animals in this scene are fascinated by the Christmas ornaments. Squirrels, a deer, and some birds study the ornament carefully. I love to present works that challenge our perceptions of the world around us. For example, our relationship to advertising visuals and slogans is often a complex one. When we take these artificial concepts, and combine them with an example of humanity that has been stripped down to its core, the results can be quite fascinating.
