This is one of the most charming winter scenes you could ever hope to find. This is the sort of thing many of us think about, when we imagine what we would like to be doing on a cold winter’s night. We see a small cabin in the middle of the woods. We can see that the light is on. From the smoke rising towards the clear, chilly sky, we can imagine that the fireplace is home to a roaring fire. We can imagine being bundled up in a blanket in front of that fire. We can imagine the hot toddy. Available as cards or interior home décor products.

I love to present works that challenge our perceptions of the world around us. For example, our relationship to advertising visuals and slogans is often a complex one. When we take these artificial concepts, and combine them with an example of humanity that has been stripped down to its core, the results can be quite fascinating. I am a Belgian artist with interests in both classical and contemporary art. I particularly love the opportunity to bring those things together in the most unique ways I can imagine. While you can find examples of holiday pieces, or tranquil scenes of nature or animals, I am particularly fond of pieces that combine classic art elements with modern sensibilities.
