Every human body is a unique masterpiece. Some try to explain the contradiction of beauty in so-called deformities. Ultimately, it is something that we cannot explain neatly. It is something that must be felt and believed from the soul. It must be how we look at the world. This depiction of Lana with one leg stretched out behind her, the other leg providing essential stability, is a depiction of a very beautiful nude woman. This black and white figure study shows that she is an imperfect human being, and is therefore perfect. This breathtaking piece is available as wall art.
About Jan Keteleer
I love to present works that challenge our perceptions of the world around us. For example, our relationship to advertising visuals and slogans is often a complex one. When we take these artificial concepts, and combine them with an example of humanity that has been stripped down to its core, the results can be quite fascinating. I am a Belgian artist with interests in both classical and contemporary art. I particularly love the opportunity to bring those things together in the most unique ways I can imagine.
