Our spiral notebooks are 6" x 8" in size and include 120 pages which are lined on both sides. The artwork is printed on the front cover which is made of thick paper stock, and the back cover is medium gray in color. The inside of the back cover includes a pocket for storing extra paper and pens.

This work was created through my knowledge of classical and modern art techniques that I apply digitally. The work is part of my series that I dedicate entirely to the female image in our society and their struggle to be recognized. In this series I portray powerful women alongside women who are open to showing their emotions. The observant viewer will notice that I take a run at the prevailing art styles that I freely mix into one work. I do not feel bound to expressionism, impressionism, fauvism or even pop art, for example. I mix them in such a way to express that not one but all art styles are the best that has been developed before.
It is the same with people, there is no one better, more beautiful than the other; We are equal in all our differences has always been my point of view. Why I portray women the most is because I always stand up for the oppressed. It just so happens that many men hate women which I cannot understand.

I love to present works that challenge our perceptions of the world around us. For example, our relationship to advertising visuals and slogans is often a complex one. When we take these artificial concepts, and combine them with an example of humanity that has been stripped down to its core, the results can be quite fascinating. I am a Belgian artist with interests in both classical and contemporary art. I particularly love the opportunity to bring those things together in the most unique ways I can imagine. While you can find examples of holiday pieces, or tranquil scenes of nature or animals, I am particularly fond of pieces that combine classic art elements with modern sensibilities.
