The Porsche 356 Is The Forerunner Of The New Porsche 911

The Porsche 356 is the forerunner of the famous Porsche 911. For over half a century, the Porsche 911 has been the symbol of high style and luxury in the automobile industry. With a body style that is substantially larger than its smaller brothers, the Porsche 356 shares the same aggressive appearance of the original Porsche 911. The Porsche 356 is the most popular model of the 911 model family, out-doing even the new convertible.

Although the exterior styling of the Porsche 911 has remained largely unchanged from its predecessors, there are a few notable changes made to the Porsche 356. Most notably is the replacement of the air-bag system with front side air bags. Air bags provide added protection for the passengers in the event of an accident by deploying air bags throughout the car. This is one safety feature that was not offered on the older models of the Porsche.

When we take these artificial concepts, and combine them with an example of humanity that has been stripped down to its core, the results can be quite fascinating.
