Het is nacht en de sterren flikkeren aan de hemel. Twee giraffen staan in een meer en genieten van de frisse lucht en het schouwspel van de sterren die de natuur hen geeft.
Ze houden van deze sterren en met hun lange nek zijn ze in staat de dichtbijzijnde ster een kusje te geven.
Ik heb dit tafereeltje gemaakt denkend aan mijn kindertijd. Toen ik nog op zoek ging naar de pot goud aan het eind van de regenboog en ik net zoals deze twee giraffen de sterren wou vangen om ze mee naar bed te nemen.
Wat een prachtige tijd. Spijtig genoeg worden velen volwassen en hebben ze deze fantasie niet meer.
Ach een kind zal ik steeds blijven... maar goed ook.
