There is an otherworldly quality to this fine art release from Jan Keteleer. The first thing that commands our attention here would be the eyes of the young girl, surrounded by gorgeous flowers. There is always going to be something that can be said for the depth of a human being’s eyes. One could even go so far as to say they represent a window into the soul. Certainly, that is something that you are going to keep in mind, as you also take in the summer flowers that surround her. This is a bold combination of flora and artistic color.

I love to present works that challenge our perceptions of the world around us. For example, our relationship to advertising visuals and slogans is often a complex one. When we take these artificial concepts, and combine them with an example of humanity that has been stripped down to its core, the results can be quite fascinating. I am a Belgian artist with interests in both classical and contemporary art. I particularly love the opportunity to bring those things together in the most unique ways I can imagine.
