Artist's Description
Citroen DS was delivered by Citro�n in different versions: saloon (sedan), estate (estate car), and convertible (convertible). Several bodybuilders also built ambulances based on the Citroen DS. These modifications were made relatively easily due to a unique combination of features of the Citroen DS front-wheel drive, self-supporting platform chassis, separate body parts, hydraulic system, capital-rich target group, and the large circulation and long production period of the model.

I love to present works that challenge our perceptions of the world around us. For example, our relationship to advertising visuals and slogans is often a complex one. When we take these artificial concepts, and combine them with an example of humanity that has been stripped down to its core, the results can be quite fascinating. I am a Belgian artist with interests in both classical and contemporary art. I particularly love the opportunity to bring those things together in the most unique ways I can imagine.
