Seagulls are beautiful birds of the ocean. However, when provoked, they can be quite the fierce combatants! They will do anything to defend their territory. This lovely fine art piece by Jan Keteleer shows such a battle by the sea. There is something about this piece that can grip the imagination, or simply your need to get away.

I love to present works that challenge our perceptions of the world around us. For example, our relationship to advertising visuals and slogans is often a complex one. When we take these artificial concepts, and combine them with an example of humanity that has been stripped down to its core, the results can be quite fascinating. I am a Belgian artist with interests in both classical and contemporary art. I particularly love the opportunity to bring those things together in the most unique ways I can imagine.
