We don’t know as much about the charming elephants in this piece as we might want to, but we do know enough. We know they are a family. We know they are dedicated to one another. Elephant families are some of the most extraordinary families in the world. This is a wonderful scene of family, bonds, and nature. The elephants walk slowly, and they walk with clear purpose. Rather than blow them along, the wind that moves the tall grass and trees seems to be moving with them, as if after asking permission. This image is available in several print forms, or as an interior home décor product.

I love to present works that challenge our perceptions of the world around us. For example, our relationship to advertising visuals and slogans is often a complex one. When we take these artificial concepts, and combine them with an example of humanity that has been stripped down to its core, the results can be quite fascinating. I am a Belgian artist with interests in both classical and contemporary art. I particularly love the opportunity to bring those things together in the most unique ways I can imagine. While you can find examples of holiday pieces, or tranquil scenes of nature or animals, I am particularly fond of pieces that combine classic art elements with modern sensibilities.
