Waiting for more milk Canvas Print

Two cats have already gotten into some milk that was left out for a pickup. One cat seems to be quite content with the milk that has spilled on to the warm afternoon streets. However, the other cat doesn’t share the contentedness of its cohort. It sits on the window sill of a building that has stood for decades. Its old world charm is obvious. The second cat is looking ahead to the possibility of more milk. They don’t seem to know how long they might have to wait. I love to present works that challenge our perceptions of the world around us. For example, our relationship to advertising visuals and slogans is often a complex one. When we take these artificial concepts, and combine them with an example of humanity that has been stripped down to its core, the results can be quite fascinating. I am a Belgian artist with interests in both classical and contemporary art. I particularly love the opportunity to bring those things together in the most unique ways I can imagine.
