We don’t know why Amy and Buddy, her faithful beagle, are sending a letter. It isn’t hard to imagine the letter might be to a relative, a pen pal, or even an early note to Santa Claus. Regardless of where the letter is going, there is something about this cute scene that evokes memories of childhood. The vintage-style post office box is just one element to this piece, but it does bring us back to an era that has gone by. Amy and Buddy are sending their letter with a sense of excitement.
