The painting of a woman sitting on a diving board belongs to the renowned artist Jan Keteleer who had painted similar oil paintings in the past and is well known for his summer oil painting portraits. This particular painting belongs to the series entitled "Diving Boards" and is one of the most cheerful series from the artist, which depicts a woman lying on a rock bottom under the sea with her husband on the next boat overlooking the scene below.
Another beautiful series from Jan Keteleer's portfolio which is entitled "Diving Boards II" and shows the artist at work on a new oil painting entitled "Dive Board II". The painting is the result of an inspiration taken from a real life incident where the artist was involved in a water accident while he was working on a commission for another famous artist.
