This black and white photo, taken with a Linhoff camera and grainy film, manages to be both gritty and elegant. This piece of fine art features Jamie as the nude model, a professional dancer, demonstrating a classic ballet pose. The discipline and athleticism of ballet are both highlighted in the piece. This is also accentuated through the grainy, raw quality of the film that was used. This photo shows Julie from the front, as she begins to take the pose that she is demonstrating. This photo manages to look both classic and modern, and would look very stylish in a modern home.

I love to present works that challenge our perceptions of the world around us. For example, our relationship to advertising visuals and slogans is often a complex one. When we take these artificial concepts, and combine them with an example of humanity that has been stripped down to its core, the results can be quite fascinating. I am a Belgian artist with interests in both classical and contemporary art. I particularly love the opportunity to bring those things together in the most unique ways I can imagine.
