It’s obvious that being a bit older, Amy feels very responsible for her beagle Buddy. She believes that it is her responsibility to help Buddy become a good dog. Of course, that doesn’t mean Amy won’t use Buddy to get at the candies, or do something else that might be a bit mischievous, but she means well. This gorgeous wall art (also available as t-shirts or interior products) shows her doing her best to scold Buddy for tipping over a garbage bin. It appears to be working! Buddy is paying rather close attention to Amy’s scolding. Will he learn from this?

I love to present works that challenge our perceptions of the world around us. For example, our relationship to advertising visuals and slogans is often a complex one. When we take these artificial concepts, and combine them with an example of humanity that has been stripped down to its core, the results can be quite fascinating. I am a Belgian artist with interests in both classical and contemporary art. I particularly love the opportunity to bring those things together in the most unique ways I can imagine. While you can find examples of holiday pieces, or tranquil scenes of nature or animals, I am particularly fond of pieces that combine classic art elements with modern sensibilities.
