The close up detailing of this nude woman is absolutely beautiful. It shows the form in a state of casual, gentle motion. Oftentimes, the small gestures we make, or the small movements that define how we sleep, wake up, and slowly approach the day, are gestures that can speak volumes of our many mysteries. We know nothing of the woman in this picture. We only know her in the context of this deceptively simple photo. This piece is a unique example of fine art. I love to present works that challenge our perceptions of the world around us. For example, our relationship to advertising visuals and slogans is often a complex one. When we take these artificial concepts, and combine them with an example of humanity that has been stripped down to its core, the results can be quite fascinating. I am a Belgian artist with interests in both classical and contemporary art. I particularly love the opportunity to bring those things together in the most unique ways I can imagine.
