Description
The Ferrari F250 Testarossa from 1957 is a beautiful sports car that had to overcome many styling challenges in order to become what it is today. The car started out as an automatic car but after some modifications, changed into manual drive and then finally to an auto with manual drive. This type of car had always been a mainstay of racing but its design had always been too aerodynamic to make it practical for professional racing teams. However, with changes to its shape, speed, and performance, it has emerged as one of the most sought after automobiles among collectors all over the world.
It has a long neck and low profile body with rounded edges on the hood, rear quarter panel, and the tires. Its design incorporates a combination of the two main classical themes that appear throughout Ferrari's history, the styling is totally modern yet retaining the traditional design of the race cars. The most distinctive characteristic of the car's design is its 'box-car' appearance which gives the car its unique name.
As is the case with many vintage and collectible vehicles, the value of this Ferrari F250 Testarossa from 1957 is priceless. Only 1,500 cars of all models were made and they are all rare and valuable due to their rarity, performance, and design. They are also one of only a few models that have been retained by Ferrari throughout their presence in the racing scene. Many collectors who buy this car to use as a restoration project will not be able to get a similar car as a result of technical aspects but for those who want to use it as a daily driver and performance car, it is a very desirable collectible.
