This is another piece that can strike one as deceptively simple. The image shows the backside of a professional model named Amy. We only know Amy’s name. We are only going to be familiar with her from this angle. Beyond the fact that this piece is a beautiful depiction of the nude form, there is a natural element of mystery to the fact that we know so little about the subject. We wonder about the moments before this piece was created. We wonder what happens afterwards. Amy Backside is available as wall art, t-shirts, and interior products.

I love to present works that challenge our perceptions of the world around us. For example, our relationship to advertising visuals and slogans is often a complex one. When we take these artificial concepts, and combine them with an example of humanity that has been stripped down to its core, the results can be quite fascinating.
