Lights! Camera! Action! This vintage-style filmmaking camera is a nice contrast to the Siamese cat that is featured in this unique fine art offering. The cat is clearly the star of the show. You can get a sense of that with the way the cat maintains a certain poise, and a certain understanding of everything that is going on. This cat knows it is a star, and it won’t perform until it is good and ready! The detail in this piece is what gives this art such a distinctive flair. This cat is a brilliant actor, and it’s a shame that we can’t see that for ourselves!

I love to present works that challenge our perceptions of the world around us. For example, our relationship to advertising visuals and slogans is often a complex one. When we take these artificial concepts, and combine them with an example of humanity that has been stripped down to its core, the results can be quite fascinating. I am a Belgian artist with interests in both classical and contemporary art. I particularly love the opportunity to bring those things together in the most unique ways I can imagine.
