A lighthouse is meant to be a beacon for navigation. You can find a lighthouse along the coast anywhere in the world. In modern times, a lighthouse did lose some of its function due to more advanced technology; However, a lighthouse still retains its romantic function for many.
This painting easily brings the atmosphere of the sea to your home. This coastal scene can be printed in different sizes and on different materials. Both on canvas, wood, metal or framed so it certainly fits into your interior.

I love to present works that challenge our perceptions of the world around us. For example, our relationship to advertising visuals and slogans is often a complex one. When we take these artificial concepts, and combine them with an example of humanity that has been stripped down to its core, the results can be quite fascinating. I am a Belgian artist with interests in both classical and contemporary art. I particularly love the opportunity to bring those things together in the most unique ways I can imagine.
